Genomics and proteomics

The full exploitation of the potential of stem cells will require a complete understanding of the genetic factors that specify stem cell identity, and that regulate their ability to form the cells that make up different tissue types. Hence genomics, proteomics approaches and especially the integration of these data is very important in stem cell research.
